What Are You Doing?

This song works well with older children and kindergarteners. Have children stand in a circle. Start by making a beat with feet and hands. Use each child's name as you go around the circle.
Adapted (from the popular improv game of the same name) by Matt Fernald.

(Name), (name), what are you doing?
What are you doing today?
Child: I'm going fishing!
All: You're going fishing?
Ok!

(Name), (name), what are you doing?
Come on, come on, what are you doing?
Child: I'm eating a crab!
All: You're eating a crab?
Ok!

Continue as such around the circle.

Child says what he/she is doing and mimes it
All start miming it
Continue to mime the action until the next one is said.

Child says what he/she is doing and mimes it
All stop the previous motion and start the new one
